Neighborhood Operations
Since 2012 we have painted more than 12,000 homes across Minneapolis and Saint Paul, earned over 1,000 five-star Google reviews, and grown about 25 percent a year doing it. We did not get here with billboards. We got here one neighborhood at a time: 15,000 flyers a week on the right doors, a yard sign on the lawn, a knock, a conversation, a house that now looks better than the one next to it.
Neighborhood Operations is the team that makes that happen for both brands, and we are hiring the person who will run the flyer side of it.
You will own flyer delivery for Paris Painting and Paris Home Exteriors. That means building and running a crew of 10 to 15 part-time delivery contractors, getting roughly 15,000 flyers onto the right doors every week from March through October, and making sure every one of them lands where the marketing team planned it. You will work alongside the marketing team on highly curated, home-specific flyers, so the painting flyer that lands on a Tudor in Edina is not the siding flyer that lands on a rambler in Richfield.
This is an operations job first. About 80 percent of your week is recruiting, scheduling, routing, inventory and accountability. The other 20 percent is marketing: what goes on the flyer, which neighborhoods get it, and what the numbers say afterward.
You will hire, coach and keep a crew of contractors, most of them part-time, many of them students or retirees.
Texts, calls, quick check-ins. Your crew always knows what is expected and what is next.
There is a number every week. You like knowing it, chasing it and beating it.
Fill out the short form below. Tell us in a sentence or two why you would be good at running a crew. We read every one and reply within two business days.
