Yes, we cross the river. Paris Painting paints homes in Hudson, Stillwater, Bayport, Lakeland and the towns along the St. Croix. Many of the houses we see here were built before 1940, with original wood siding that needs patient prep, hand scraping and the right primer before any finish coat goes on.

Hudson is an old river town, and the houses show it: 1920s bungalows and story-and-a-half homes on the streets above downtown, wood lap siding with generations of paint on it, front porches, detached garages and stucco from the same era. On these homes the paint job is mostly prep. We wash at low pressure, hand scrape, spot or full prime with a slow-dry oil primer where the wood is bare, and only then put on the finish coats.
We are an EPA Lead-Safe Certified Firm in Minnesota, and our Wisconsin lead-safe certification is in progress. If your Hudson home was built before 1978, tell us when you book and we will explain what we can take on today. The same crews and project managers who work in Stillwater and St. Paul do our Hudson projects, so you get one estimator, one project manager and a printed, line-item proposal.

We rinsed the house and detached garage at low pressure in place of pressure washing, hand scraped with no sanding, and primed with an alkyd stain-blocking primer.
Yellow lap siding, white trim, and red and green accents were all matched to the existing scheme. The front porch floor was soft washed and stained separately.
A full exterior on a story-and-a-half home with stucco on the main body and lap siding in the gables. The body went to Sherwin-Williams Alabaster and the gables, trim, soffits, fascia, chimney and storm windows to Iron Ore.
Window trim on a couple of windows was repaired by our carpenter before paint. The owners later had us back for the interior.

We have not painted enough Hudson homes yet to publish a Hudson-only range, so these are our exterior projects across the St. Croix Valley. The middle half ran from $5,810 to $14,810, with a median of $9,730. Size, siding type, carpentry and the amount of prep are what move the number.
Residential exterior projects we completed in Hudson, Stillwater, Bayport, West Lakeland and Lake Elmo, 2025 through early October 2026 (n=75). Every project is priced on site; this is the real range, not a quote.
Yes. We have painted homes in Hudson since 2022, including a 1925 exterior on Locust Street and a stucco exterior and interior on Myrtle Street. Hudson is a short drive from our Stillwater and Lake Elmo projects, and the same crews and project managers cover both sides of the river.

Yes. Stillwater is our busiest river town, with more than 110 projects, and we also work in Bayport, Lakeland, West Lakeland Township and Lake Elmo. See our Stillwater page for projects and pricing there.
Across the St. Croix Valley, the middle half of our exterior projects over the last two seasons ran from about $5,810 to $14,810, with a median of $9,730. Older homes with heavy prep, carpentry repairs and multi-color schemes sit toward the top of that range. Every project is priced on site with a printed, line-item proposal.
Yes. Bring us an old can, a chip or just the house itself and we match body, trim and accent colors at no charge. If you are working with a color consultant, send us the scheme and we price it as specified.
Most exteriors are washed one day, then painted over two to four working days depending on size, prep and weather. Your project manager sets the schedule with you before the crew arrives and walks the finished house with you at the end.
An estimator comes to the house, measures it, checks the wood for rot, and leaves you a printed proposal with the prep steps itemized. No pressure and no obligation.
