Most painting companies paint. We handle everything before, during, and after. That means carpentry repairs, surface prep, paint, and a project manager who stays accountable from estimate to walkthrough. One contract. If you own an older home, a historic property, or just want the work done right the first time, this is how we operate.
We publish real numbers from our own estimates so you can plan before anyone comes out. Both guides show room-by-room and whole-home ranges, what changes the price, and what a Paris Painting proposal includes.
Exterior work in Minnesota takes more than a coat of paint. Freeze-thaw cycles, moisture, and aging substrates mean prep is everything. We inspect, repair, and treat the surface before we paint it, and we back the work with a multi-year warranty.
Whole-home repaints, partial repaints, and everything in between. We use products rated for Minnesota's climate and we document every prep step so you know what you paid for. Includes a dedicated project manager and a written warranty.
Lead-safe certified. EPA compliant. We've completed more than 4,000 lead-safe projects on pre-1978 homes across Minneapolis, St. Paul and the suburbs, including stucco, original wood siding, cracked masonry and historic trim. We don't paint over problems. We fix them first.
Stucco is unforgiving of bad prep. We assess the surface, treat cracks and soft spots, prime correctly, and apply coatings built for the substrate. We've been repainting stucco exteriors across Minneapolis and the western suburbs since 2012, and it is usually less expensive per square foot than wood siding.
If we find rotted wood, soft fascia, or failing trim during an estimate, we fix it ourselves at $135 per hour plus materials, listed on the same proposal as the paint. No waiting on a separate carpenter and no schedule gaps between repair and paint. Bundled carpentry is one of the main reasons clients come back to us.
We assess the wood, strip old finish where needed, and apply the right stain system for Minnesota sun and moisture. We can also walk you through paint vs. stain trade-offs on a per-project basis if you're not sure which direction to go.
Every crew member working on pre-1978 homes is certified. We follow proper containment, removal, and disposal protocol and can provide documentation if you need it for a sale, rental, or permit.
Interior work is where communication matters most. You’re living in the space. We schedule around you, protect your floors and furniture, and do a room-by-room walkthrough before we leave.
We handle ceiling texture, wall repairs, trim, and doors as part of the same job. If your walls have damage from removed anchors, old wallpaper, or cracked plaster, we assess and repair before painting. Occupied homes are a normal part of what we do.
Rolling cabinets leaves texture. We spray them, which means a smooth, factory-style finish that holds up to daily use. We use a dedicated product system with bonding primer, catalyzed topcoat, and full dry time between coats. This is one of the higher-return upgrades in a kitchen renovation and a fraction of the cost of replacement.
We remove wallpaper, skim coat damaged drywall, patch holes and cracks, and repair plaster before painting. If your walls have damage from removed anchors, TV mounts, or years of wear, we get the surface right first. Paint over a bad surface and it shows. We don't skip this step.
These come up on most estimates. Each is priced as its own line on your proposal, so you can add or drop it and see exactly what it costs.

We paint across the Twin Cities metro. Minneapolis and St. Paul are the bulk of our work, with crews in the western, southern and northern suburbs every week.
Not on the list? Ask. If it is in the metro, we can usually get there.
We work with property managers, HOAs, small businesses, and multi-unit owners across the Twin Cities metro. We can schedule around tenants, work in phases, and keep disruption low.
We stain and refinish commercial decks, fences, pergolas, and other exterior wood on HOA properties, apartment complexes, and commercial buildings. We assess the wood condition first, strip old finish where needed, and apply a stain system built for Minnesota weather and high-traffic surfaces. Can be bundled with a commercial exterior repaint into one contract.
We paint commercial interiors with minimal disruption. Weekend and evening scheduling available. We've worked in senior living facilities, manufacturing spaces, non-profits, and office buildings. One project manager, documented scope, and a walkthrough before closeout.
We handle full exterior repaints on commercial and multi-unit properties across the Twin Cities metro. Same prep standards as our residential work: surface assessment, repairs, proper primer, and a written warranty. References from property managers and HOA boards available on request.
This is what separates a good painter from a good experience.
Before work starts, we document the surface condition, note any repairs needed, and confirm the scope in writing. No surprises on day one.
You get one person who knows your job. They show up, they communicate, and they're reachable by phone or text.
You know what happened today and what's happening tomorrow. If something changes, you hear it from us first.
We don't call a job done until we walk it with you. Touch-ups and corrections happen before final payment, not after.
All exterior work is backed by a written warranty. If something fails that we're responsible for, we come back and fix it. Details provided in your estimate.
Yes. Trim-only, one room, a garage, or a porch are all normal. Interior minimum is $1,000 in the busy season and about $500 – $800 in winter. Exterior partial projects usually run $1,900 – $5,000.
An in-person walkthrough that takes about an hour. Your estimator looks at every surface, flags repairs or lead-safe needs, and writes a printed proposal on the spot. We review it together; accept then or take your time. Pricing holds for 90 days.
Yes. Rotted sills, fascia, trim and siding are repaired by our own handyman crew at $135 per hour plus materials (4-hour minimum), listed on the same proposal as the paint so there is one contract and no gap between repair and paint.
We assume lead paint and follow EPA lead-safe practices: containment, no sanding, HEPA cleanup and safe disposal. It adds roughly 10 – 15% to an exterior. We have completed more than 4,000 lead-safe projects.
Every project carries a 3-year limited warranty on premature paint failure (vertical surfaces), backed by $2,000,000 in liability insurance and full workers' comp. Details are printed on your proposal.
Premium lines from Sherwin-Williams, Benjamin Moore and Hirshfield's, chosen per surface. The exact product, sheen, primer and number of coats is written on every line of your proposal.
Yes, through our sister company, Paris Home Exteriors. Those jobs get their own project manager and crews who specialize in siding, roofing and decks, under the same ownership and standards. One call covers both.
