Yes, we ask that the homeowner or decision maker be there. It is the only way to scope the job accurately, set expectations and answer your questions in one visit.

A printed copy by the end of the appointment, with every part of the project priced as its own line so you can add, drop or phase. Occasionally a complex job needs 24 to 48 hours. Pricing holds for 90 days.

The average interior project we completed in 2026 was about $5,000 and the average exterior about $7,000 without lead paint ($9,400 with lead-safe prep); finished projects typically run about 15 percent above the base bid once options and repairs are added. Yes to small projects, with minimums so a crew day makes sense:

• Interior: $1,000 (about 1–2 rooms). Winter drops to roughly $500 – $800, one painter for one day.
• Exterior: $2,000 (a garage, a deck, trim only).
• Cabinet enameling: $3,000 (upper or lower cabinets).

No. Your proposal covers paint, labor and materials, and the paint is delivered before your start date. We use premium lines from Sherwin-Williams, Benjamin Moore and Hirshfield's, and the exact product, sheen, primer and number of coats is printed on every line.

Usually it is prep and what is actually included: number of coats, primer, caulking, repairs, lead-safe work. Our proposals spell all of that out line by line so you can compare apples to apples.

Typically 1 to 2 weeks after you approve the proposal. Weather and material availability can shift it, and we always communicate start and completion dates.

Most projects are done in 2 to 4 days. From the estimate to a finished home is usually 1 to 3 weeks:

• Free quote, delivered on site by your estimator
• Colors confirmed with our coordination team
• Start in 1 to 2 weeks after approval
• 2 to 4 days on site, depending on scope

Larger or historic homes can take longer because of detail work and carpentry prep.

A dedicated project manager, plus a coordinator who handles scheduling and color confirmation. You have one person to call from start to finish, and the PM reviews the finished work and final pricing with you.

Yes. Doors and drawers are sprayed off site, boxes are done in place, with degreasing, sanding and a bonding primer first. Most kitchens run $4,500 – $8,000. We paint cabinets; we do not stain them.

Yes. Homes built before 1978 (and especially pre-1940) usually have lead paint. We are an EPA Lead-Safe Certified firm: containment, no sanding, HEPA cleanup and safe disposal. It adds roughly 10 to 15 percent to an exterior, and we have completed more than 4,400 lead-safe projects.

• Cutting and replacing rotted wood siding, trim, soffit and fascia
• Window sill and casing repair
• Deck repair or replacement
• LP siding replacement
• Filling animal holes, light stucco repair

Repairs are done by our own carpentry crew at $135 per hour plus materials (4-hour minimum), listed on the same proposal as the paint. On a tight budget, tell us what to prioritize.

Every project carries a full 3-year warranty on premature paint failure on vertical surfaces, backed by $2,000,000 in liability coverage. Decks and other horizontal surfaces are not covered, but we are happy to touch those up at a low rate.

To request warranty touch-ups, use the warranty request form before July 15 so we can schedule them by the end of the painting season.
