Most frequent questions and answers

We provide services to cities within a 20-mile radius of Minneapolis – St Paul, including Stillwater, Woodbury, Prior Lake, Rosemount, Ham Lake, Corcoran, and Mound.

For both interior and exterior projects, we are typically booked 2-4 weeks in advance.

Most jobs are finished in 2-4 days, depending on the size of the home and the scope of work to be completed.

The average project cost is $7,000 for exterior painting and $5,500 for interior painting. Each home is unique and requires a custom quote.
Our carpentry services include cutting and replacing rotted wood siding, deck repair or replacement, LP siding replacement, soffit and fascia repair, filling animal holes, and light stucco repair.
All carpentry work is billed hourly, with a 4-hour minimum, plus materials. The handyman estimates time upon arrival. Projects typically range from 4 hours to 2 days. Billing starts when the carpenter arrives, including supply runs billed hourly
  1. Submit your deposit: You’ll receive an invoice link via email for 33% of the estimate.
  2. Sign your digital contract: Watch for an email through Authentisign.


Once steps 1 & 2 are complete, our admin team will schedule your start date and email you.

Typically 90 days unless otherwise specified. Our quotes are always free.

In order to optimize efficiency for our painting crew and project manager, we maintain the following project minimums:

  • Interior: $1,000 (e.g., 1-2 rooms)
  • Exterior: $2,000 (e.g., garage or deck staining)
  • Enameling: $3,000 (e.g., upper or lower cabinets)


We can accommodate your budget by consolidating multiple projects into a single scope of work.

Our estimators bring color swatches and can offer recommendations. We also partner with professional color consultants (consultation fee: approximately $150).

Most exterior siding is painted using a spray-and-roll technique for maximum adhesion and even coverage. Brushes are used for cutting in edges and painting trim, rollers are used for walls and ceilings. Paint sprayers are often used for cabinet painting to achieve a smooth finish.

We follow EPA lead regulations and assume lead paint on homes built before 1978. Read the Renovate Right Brochure
