Deck, fence, siding, and log home staining for Twin Cities homeowners

Stains are meant to soak into the wood—not just sit on the surface. But if the wood is dirty, painted over, or sealed, the stain won’t bond well. That’s why every Paris staining project includes:
Soft Wash/Revive Wash: Removes greyed-out fibers and organic buildup.
Surface Evaluation: We check for previous coatings, peeling, or flaking to determine if sanding or stripping is required.
Custom Stain Selection: We help you choose the right type of stain for your goals and surface condition.
We offer all four major stain types—each with its own look and longevity:
Transparent Stain: Natural look, wood grain shows through. Requires full removal of old coatings. Maintenance every 1–2 years.
Semi-Transparent: Light color, allows grain to show. Best with oil-based for deeper penetration. Maintenance every 1–3 years.
Semi-Solid: Uniform color even on varied wood. Hides imperfections. Needs sanding if flaking exists. Maintenance every 2–3 years.
Solid Stain: Paint-like coverage while maintaining wood texture. Ideal for mismatched or weathered surfaces. Maintenance every 3–5 years.

Easiest work I've ever contracted out Paris stained my fence and it looks great. They keep me informed about the timing, arrived on time and completed the job quickly. The bonus, I was on vacation and they completed the entire job by the time I returned.Posted on Google![]()

Scottie did a wonderful job painting the trim on my new windows. I chose to have a sprayed finish and his attention to detail was fantastic. The communication with staff throughout the project was excellent. I would heartily recommend using them.Posted on Google![]()
