We have completed more than 250 painting projects in Eden Prairie since 2017, mostly 1980s to 2000s two-stories with cedar or engineered siding, plus a good share of stucco and stained-cedar homes in the neighborhoods around Bearpath, Bluffs and the Minnesota River bluffs.

Eden Prairie homes are newer than most of the metro, which changes the job. There is rarely lead paint, so prep is about washing, scraping any failing coats, priming bare cedar and replacing the occasional soft LP board. Where we do see heavier work is on stucco homes from the 1990s and 2000s, which need hairline cracks patched and a masonry coating, and on stained cedar that has weathered and needs a solid stain.
Interior repaints and cabinet painting are steady work here, especially when homes change hands. Estimates are free and scheduling in season is usually a matter of weeks, not months.

Over the last two seasons the middle half of our Eden Prairie exterior projects ran from $3,760 to $10,010, with a median of $6,110. What moves the number is size, siding type, carpentry and whether the home is pre-1978 and needs lead-safe prep.

Yes, and it is common in Eden Prairie. We wash, patch hairline cracks with an elastomeric patch, and apply a masonry-rated acrylic coating. If the stucco shows staining or bulging that suggests moisture behind it, we will say so before painting.
Only if it was built before 1978, which is a small share of the city. For newer homes there is no lead-safe surcharge.

Yes. Several Eden Prairie neighborhoods have approved color palettes. Bring us the HOA guidelines and we will match the approved colors and provide the documentation the association asks for.
