These are the colors Twin Cities homeowners actually chose this year, pulled from more than 1,300 Paris Painting projects in 2026. Use them to narrow your list, then see the real paint on your own home.
Get a Free EstimateThe body colors our customers picked most in 2026, in order. White still leads, with charcoals and deep greens close behind.
Trim is where most homes land on a clean white or a crisp black.
Beyond white, these are the doors we painted most.
Older homes deserve colors from their own era. These combinations are built from historic colors our customers chose this year for Minneapolis and Saint Paul homes.
Four to six colors that show off every bracket, shingle and spindle.
Earthy and grounded, with a warm trim and one deep accent.
Soft stucco, dark timbers and a strong front door.
A light body, clean trim, dark shutters and a door that says hello.
This 1891 Queen Anne in Saint Paul wears a six-color scheme built on Van Courtlandt Blue, Windham Cream, Newburyport Blue and Bryant Gold, right down to a hand-painted frieze.
See the ProjectWarm whites and soft neutrals carried interiors in 2026. For cabinets, Pure White, White Dove and Extra White were the top three.
Your roof, brick, stone and windows are not changing. Pick colors that work with them first.
Look at a real sample on your own siding, in morning light and evening light, before you commit.
The best colors fit the home and the street. Stand out a little, not a lot.
On our 2026 projects, white leads by a wide margin. Sherwin-Williams Pure White and Extra White are the two most chosen body colors, followed by Iron Ore, Alabaster and Greek Villa. Dark charcoals and deep greens like Rosemary are the most common choices after the whites.
Pure White (SW 7005) is the trim color we apply most, with Extra White (SW 7006) second. Tricorn Black is the most popular dark trim and looks sharp on windows, shutters and front doors.
Historic homes look best in colors from their own era. Both Sherwin-Williams and Benjamin Moore publish historic collections, and we see Classic Light Buff, Rookwood Red, Roycroft Vellum, Windham Cream and Saybrook Sage chosen again and again on older Minneapolis and Saint Paul homes. Victorians can carry four to six colors. Craftsman and Tudor homes usually look best with two or three.

No. Many homeowners decide after their estimate. We just need your final colors before work begins.
Yes. If you want the same color you have now, we can match it from a paint can label, a chip, or a sample taken from the house.
Colors shown are on-screen approximations and will not match real paint exactly. Rankings are based on colors named on Paris Painting work orders for projects sold in 2026. Sherwin-Williams and Benjamin Moore color names belong to their owners.

Easiest work I've ever contracted out Paris stained my fence and it looks great. They keep me informed about the timing, arrived on time and completed the job quickly. The bonus, I was on vacation and they completed the entire job by the time I returned.Posted on Google![]()

Scottie did a wonderful job painting the trim on my new windows. I chose to have a sprayed finish and his attention to detail was fantastic. The communication with staff throughout the project was excellent. I would heartily recommend using them.Posted on Google![]()
